Marsha Prefers Murder

Little Miss Marsha says abortion is murder. However, a guy that forces and pays for one of his girlfriends to have an abortion is worthy of her praise and support. Is that the old double standard raising its ugly head? No. Marsha’s only standards are getting rich, getting power and getting her over-ripe mug on television. That seems to be standards that are universal among Republican politicians.

There may be an exception  . . .  possibly two. If you know any of those rare birds, please let me know.

So, why, with so many to choose from, am I picking on this particular lying parasite? Because she “represents” me.

Herschel Walker, though possibly the least qualified person ever to run for public office, Has the overwhelming support of the Republican Party. While spouting his Christianity and saying he supports a national, total ban on abortions for any reason made one of his girlfriends get one and tried to get her to have a second one. Don’t get me wrong. He was willing to pay for them.

His longsuffering wife has recounted several times that her ever-loving and every piece of tail-loving husband has held a gun to her head and threatened to shoot. She must really love him or his money. She called the girlfriend that had the abortion and told her how loving and generous he had been to her 10-year old son — the one that wasn’t aborted. The girlfriend didn’t think paying court-ordered child support and seeing the boy three times in his 10 years qualified him for as “Father of the Year.”

The girlfriend told the wife of this staunch Christian family man to stop lying. The son of his wife (I think I partially have the relationships right) says he wasn’t really a family man to his admitted family. The son says he spent more time with his other women than with his family.

It’s really comical to watch concussion-addled Herschel trying to claim he is a real Christian, a better one than his opponent, the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, you know, Martin Luther King’s old church.

Not only do Marsha and her colleagues accept that he is in their eyes a murderer they don’t mind him claiming to have been valedictorian of his college class. Apparently at the University of Georgia graduation isn’t necessary to hold that distinction.  Then there is the problem of his claim to have created a nonprofit that already existed. He was associated with that nonprofit — as their handsomely-paid spokesman. I was unable to keep up with all of the companies he never owned. Perhaps I could ask the CIA that he never worked for. Oh yeah. He also continues to claim he is a police officer, brandishing a badge during his debate.

At least he promises to return to China all of that polluted air that they have been sending us while taking our clean air.

Miss Marsha is capable of overlooking these minor flaws and dozens of others, for the privilege of being in the majority party. Then those corporations will have pay more to own (rent?) her. Also, she would get to help block any legislation that might help the other ninety-plus percent of the people. These Republican politicians care for the plebes no more than Old Pumpkin Head, number 45 cares about Mike Pence. If you don’t give them enough money, you don’t exist.

Go ahead and vote for those lying parasites so they can try to keep their promises of cutting or destroying  Social Security, Medicare, public education. Biggest disagreement among Republican senators right now is whether there should be a law to “sunset” Medicare and Social Security every five years or every year. That would mean they would be eliminated after every five years or every year unless the Congress passed and the president signed a bill extending them. The proposal for the more generous 5-year one, Rick Scott, was forced out as CEO of Humana for engineering the largest fraud against Medicare in history. Maybe he now wants Medicare to continue because he has another plan for bilking it again. For Republicans, that made him the obvious choice for Governor of Florida . . . and now senator.

These hypocrites were unanimous in voting against allowing the government to negotiate lower drug prices and capping the maximum annual outlay for drugs at $2,000. They were unanimous against bills to lower inflation and payoff the national debt. They love the debt so much that Reagan tripled it, though little George W was only able to double it.

So, they lie about being fiscally conservatives. What about law and order? They raise money to pay the legal expenses of some of those fighting and injuring 140 policemen during the attack on the Capitol. Are they patriots? They honor the flag of the traitors called the Confederacy.

Is there even a single conservative “principle” they actually care about? Yes. There are two. They want to lower taxes on the top couple of percent of the wealthy and corporations but not pay off that added debt. The also want smaller government. They do want a government large enough to take your privacy and other rights. They want to sell or give as much of the government as possible to private corporations. They want to eliminate all of the departments that help the country — you and me. You know, the ones that try to ensure that the water and air are clean and drugs are safe. They want to get rid of national parks and give the rest of public lands to the parasites that own them.

Though preferring King George III, slavery, Hitler, segregation and trying to abolish Social Security and Medicare and wanting to restrict civil rights and voting right, somehow conservatism acquired a good odor and they exploit that to the max. They lie. They are hypocrites. They support people they call murderers. Do they care about you? Do they really support the things you support? They claim to. But that’s where it ends. The nation is in turmoil right now. Trump and his toadies are responsible for that. There is a quick fix. It would be for voters to actually study the issues and vote for their own best interests. There is just one problem with that. It ain’t gonna happen. Why? Because it’s easier for too many people to follow the pied piper; let others do their thinking for them and trust clowns that are proven liars — trust those who only care about their own power and bank accounts.

If everyone voted their own actual personal interests and ignored labels, the Republican Party’s votes on election day would be in the single digits.

If you found this educational, edifying, interesting or otherwise worth your time, this geezer would appreciate a little supplement to those Social Security checks, They forgot to factor in the cost of publishing a blog and a podcast. I would like to continue being able to afford my daily cup of coffee and pound of caviar.

Thank you,
