In life, you know you’re not going to win every fight. Regardless, there are times when you must engage, whether you will win or lose. But,this is about those fights in which we would be better advised to avoid. These are fights that no one will win; fights that no one can win.
Bill Maher is not exactly famous for avoiding fights. The fact that he’s angered a fair number of people while more than surviving for decades in a profession that is not always kind to its practitioners, it proof that he has won a few fights.
There aren’t too many books on how to avoid Thanksgiving with your family. There is a rumor that there actually are families where not everyone agrees, particularly about politics, particularly when Twitter’s most prolific user insists on dividing the United States.
Bill has an important message for all this Thanksgiving.
I wish all of you an enjoyable, apolitical Thanksgiving. If you wish to extend it through the entire holiday season, I won’t get upset. Besides, Iowa in January will provide you with the necessary antidote to amity.
