 Hero? Patriot? Not exactly.

Criminal? Yes.

Millionaire Freeloader? Absolutely

Hypocrite? The very definition of one.

My grandmother taught me never to trust anyone that wears their religion or patriotism on their sleeve. Well, Cliven Bundy doesn’t always wear it on his sleeve but he does keep the American flag close at hand. He wants you to think he’s a patriotic American. Bullshit.

That’s ironic. This is the guy I saw on my television saying that he doesn’t recognize the federal government as legitimate. He’s a devotee of states’ rights. He does recognize the State of Nevada as legitimate . . . while ignoring its laws.

The federal government isn’t legitimate but he’s upset because that non-existent entity is violating his rights under its Constitution. I’m going to have to think about that for a while.

Also, this paragon of patriotism is so courageous that he and his gulls decided to put women in front of them, so law enforcement would have to shoot them. When the government decided not to shoot the women, their temporary delay in enforcing the law was hailed as a victory of the people over the tyrannical, fascist, communist government, These courageous, rugged, individualistic children still hang on to women’s apron strings.

Actually, Cliven’s position that he has the right to use whatever he wants sounds like some sort of personal communism.

I don’t know if he would still be a millionaire if he operated legally but he has certainly mastered the code of the plutocrats: Everyone without wealth is equal under the law. The wealthy are not subject to the law.

Is it his right to use the land and resources that belong to me . . . and you without paying? If someone you didn’t know barged into your home and took control of the kitchen and a couple of bedrooms, would he be your hero? Would he match your conception of a patriot? Really? Why not? He seems to fulfill that role for the Fox Clowns and Rush and Boehner and Sister Sarah and the Pauls, père et fils.

The other ranchers pay the government for using the public land. By the way, those fees are laughably low. They represent a governmental subsidy. They are substantially below what it would be on private property. And, speaking of private property, this virtuous Christian shows his love for his fellow man by not bothering to ask permission, or pay, to run his cattle across someone else’s ranch.

He and his fellow hypocrites hate the government. My suggestion for them and their ilk is to move to a place like Somalia, where there is no real functioning government. I am sick to death of these greedy, egoistic, worthless, ignorant cowards that think owning a gun qualifies them as a man. It’s considerably more complex than that; much too complex for such simpletons.

Grownup men have a world of ways of establishing and exercising their manhood. Those pitiful, pitiable souls must make do with only an artificial, less than human phallic substitute.
